Introduction
Konnektus Team is looking for a Senior Marine Engineer to join our clients team. Our client is a global leader in deepwater ocean infrastructure, delivering advanced floating production solutions and pioneering sustainable technologies.
Function
- Develop conceptual and detailed marine system designs for floating production units;
- Ensure compliance with classification society rules and international regulations;
- Manage interfaces with Naval, E&I, Piping, HVAC, Process, and Safety disciplines;
- Review and specify marine equipment, balancing technical performance and commercial awareness;
- Participate in technical reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA,
Requirements
- MSc or BSc degree (or equivalent) in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Marine Systems Engineering (Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design preferred);
- Strong knowledge of floating production units (FPSO, FSO, LNG carriers, drilling units, semi-submersibles, TLP);
- Familiarity with shipyards, marine equipment vendors, and classification societies (e.g., ABS, DNV, BV, Lloyd’s);
- Resilient, action-oriented, stakeholder-focused, and adaptable in dynamic project environments.
