Project Buyer

Currently we are looking for a Project Buyer (6 – 12 months), living in Rotterdam area and have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.


– Responsible for expediting the bids;
– Prepare the purchase order document;
– Negotiation with vendors;
– Ensure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry;
– Check that the Particular Purchase Conditions, laid down for the Project, are wholly applicable to the specific case;
– Recover the amounts relevant to the back-charges, according to the approved procedures;
– Authorize quotations and approve general purchase orders in accordance with financial department;
– Report to the manager.

Functie eisen

– You have a Bachelor’s degree;
– At least 5 years working experience in similar function in a technical purchasing environment;
– Knowledge of MS Office and ERP applications/ software;
– Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language both spoken en written;
– Willing to travel abroad.
