Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to design, integrate, and maintain control systems for complex offshore energy projects.

Function

  • Develop and review instrumentation and control system designs, specifications, and datasheets;
  • Select and specify field instruments, analyzers, control valves, and safety devices in accordance with project requirements and industry standards;
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including P&IDs, cause & effect diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams;
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, process, structural) to ensure integration of instrumentation systems;
  • Provide technical support during procurement, vendor follow-up, FAT/SAT, and site commissioning activities;
  • Ensure compliance with international codes, project standards, and HSE requirements;
  • Contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and reporting related to instrumentation scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering (or equivalent);
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the offshore oil & gas or energy sector;
  • Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (IEC, ISA, ATEX, SIL, etc.);
  • Experience with instrumentation for process control, safety systems, and field instrumentation in hazardous areas;
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as SPI/INtools, AutoCAD, and E&I databases;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
