Introduction
We are currently looking for experienced Buyers with strong negotiation and contracting skills for different clients who are active in the Energy Industry
Function
– Liaise with (internal) clients to compile requirements for sourcing of materials and services;
– Review internal requisitions and check correctness (incl. all correspondence);
– Negotiate bids and quotations;
– Expedite Pos and ensure timely receipt of goods, documents and certificates in accordance with the (technical) specifications;
– Verify and approve invoices;
– Manage, monitor and process POA;
– Analyse the supplier market (structures, market shares, prices, technology, products etc.);
– Actively develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors;
– Keeps supervisor well informed of market conditions, price developments and other Purchasing matters;

Requirements
– Bachelor’s and or Master Degree in Engineering and a background experience in Supply Chain Management;
– Up to five years’ experience in purchasing in an international environment;
– Fully conversant with modern procurement and purchasing methods and techniques;
– Experience with MS Word, Excel and SAP;
– Highly organised with a hands-on, no-nonsense mentality and an ability to work on own initiative;
– Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
